ALTERNATIVE USES FOR THE ROUNDHOUSE

It’s not just farmers who use the Roundhouse, the more popular the building becomes, the more uses we find for it. We have been approached by many different industries, from play parks, to lorry parks where the unique design of the Roundhouse can be utilised to bring exceptional benefits over and above that of a 'normal' building.

Hasty’s Farm Park in Jaywick, Essex have a RH30 full of outdoor play equipment. Hasty’s hope that the Roundhouse will protect children from the sun and rain but still give them the outdoor adventure all young energetic children thrive on. It also extends the annual opening times.

Over Farm in Gloucester bought a RH30 to house their display of animals but in mid summer the building transforms into the central venue for a massive music festival. At Halloween the building is host to thousands of visitors who come for spooky madness in a Roundhouse maze full of murder, fire breathing and chainsaw juggling.

In Scotland, Almond Valley Heritage Centre bought a RH30 to house some of their attractions opening for the 2018 season.

We also have a RH22 with planning approved in Scotland for another covered play area. Plus a further application in Scotland for a RH22 to cover sensitive water filtration equipment on an industrial site. We would never have thought of some of these uses when the original plans were drawn out by Geoff in his drawing office in Barnard Castle, 14 years ago.
